Masahiro knows that keeping a good edge on your Katana, Wakizashi or Tanto is at the top of the list of sword maintenance and safety. This Masahiro sword sharpening kit will allow you to keep all of your tournament steels and collection pieces as sharp as you like. The kit comes with everything you will need. Kit Includes: Double sided whetstone (7 x 2 3/8 x 5/8'') with Wooden storage box The dark side of the whetstone is a #400 grit used for ruffing out the edge, removing burs and nicks. The light side is a #1000 grit made for most typical, everyday dressing of the edge after typical damage from use. White Fine Grain Whetstone (7 x 2 3/8 x 1/4'') with Wooden storage box. The White stone is a #3000 grit for fine tuning and a final sharpening and finishing. Wooden Ladle for dipping water 2 Bottles of oils Wooden water bucket Wooden Storage cabinet (10 1/8 x 5 5/8 x 10") HOLDS ALL THE ABOVE ITEMS. There are no instructions for this kit. However there are some very good sources on the web for the correct way of sharpening your swords.
